The Kiwanis Club of Walnut Valley sponsors clubs at Diamond Bar High School, John A. Rowland High School, Walnut High School and Mt. San Antonio College ("Mt. SAC").

The Key Clubs of Diamond Bar, John A. Rowland, and Walnut are chartered by conforming to the schools' rules and regulations, as well as adhering to the Bylaws of Key Club International, including the sponsorship of a Kiwanis Club, Walnut Valley (John A. Rowland H.S. Key Club is co-sponsored by the La Puente-Industry Kiwanis Club).

The Circle K Club of Mt. SAC follows the precepts of the student governing body's constitution, as well as the Bylaws of Circle K International, including the sponsorship of a Kiwanis Club, Walnut Valley.

Joe Dyer Scholarship is open to only a graduating member of a Key Club sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Walnut Valley.  Those schools are currently Diamond Bar High School, John A. Rowland High School, and Walnut High School. This scholarship is to be awarded at the 7-High School Awards Ceremony (Chapman Awards) sponsored and held by the Kiwanis Club of Walnut Valley in May of each year.  Each of the 7 schools supply names of numerous students (90 to 100) to receive recognition before their peers and families, and one from each of the 7 schools will  receive a scholarship.  Beginning with the 40th Annual Chapman Awards in 2009, the eighth Scholarship, the Joe Dyer Award is presented to the outstanding graduating Key Club member who exemplifies service, leadership and commitment to the ideals of community service, both within and outside of Key Club.  The following link will give you the application for this Key Club award, which has a submission deadline of April 22, 2011.  The application and the subsequent award of this scholarship is open ONLY to an active Key Club member of the 3 Key Clubs sponsored by Walnut Valley Kiwanis.  Again, they are the Key Clubs in a graduating member of a Key Club sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Walnut Valley, Diamond Bar High School, John A. In addition, Kiwanis Cal-Nev-Ha Foundation SLP Scholarship Fund applications are open to all Kiwanis-sponsored Key Clubs and KIWIN'S Clubs (and Circle K Clubs) in the Cal-Nev-Ha District. Whether or not you are a Key Club member who applies for the Joe Dyer Scholarship, you should apply for this scholarship.  BUT this year, the deadline to apply for this scholarship is February 24, 2011Applicants should be current, active members of a Kiwanis-sponsored Key Club or KIWIN’S Club for a minimum of one year and have a 2.5 GPA or greater. Key Club and KIWIN’S applicants must be graduating seniors and their GPA must be verified by the faculty advisor.

                           important consideration for both scholarship applications.
